WhatsApp Account Setup

Connect your WhatsApp Business account to Raion Hub for lead generation and message management.


Overview

Link your WhatsApp account to enable automated lead capture, message management, and customer communication through Raion Hub.

Requirements

  • WhatsApp installed on your mobile phone
  • Active WhatsApp account
  • Stable internet connection on both devices

Account Connection Process

Step 1: Access WhatsApp Integration

Navigation

  1. Go to WhatsApp in sidebar
  2. Click “Account”
  3. You’ll see the WhatsApp Account Manager interface

Step 2: QR Code Setup

Wait for QR Code

  1. Wait for QR Code to load - this may take some time
  2. QR Code will appear in the center of the screen
  3. Note the 20-second countdown in the top-right corner of QR Code

QR Code Timeout: The QR code expires after 20 seconds for security. Click “Refresh QR Code” if it expires before scanning.

Step 3: Mobile Phone Setup

WhatsApp Mobile Steps

  1. Open WhatsApp on your mobile phone
  2. Go to Settings (or tap Menu)
  3. Select “Linked Devices”
  4. Tap “Link a Device”
  5. Scan the QR Code displayed on Raion Hub

Step 4: Device Linking Process

Synchronization

  1. After scanning, wait for devices to sync
  2. Do not close WhatsApp on phone or Raion Hub during sync
  3. Sync process may take several moments
  4. Phone will show either:
    • Device login name prompt, or
    • “Device has been linked” confirmation

Important: Keep both WhatsApp mobile app and Raion Hub open during the entire linking process. Closing either may interrupt the connection.

Troubleshooting

QR Code Issues

  • QR Code won’t load: Refresh the page and try again
  • QR Code expired: Click “Refresh QR Code” button
  • QR Code unclear: Ensure good lighting when scanning

Scanning Problems

  • Can’t scan QR: Ensure phone camera has focus
  • QR Code not recognized: Try moving phone closer/further from screen
  • Multiple scan attempts: Wait 30 seconds before retrying

Sync Issues

  • Sync taking too long: Wait up to 2 minutes before refreshing
  • Connection failed: Check internet connection on both devices
  • Link unsuccessful: Restart process from Step 1

General Connection Problems

  • Ensure WhatsApp is updated to latest version
  • Check if WhatsApp Web is already active on another device
  • Verify phone has stable internet connection
  • Try restarting WhatsApp app if connection fails

Post-Setup Verification

This is how it should look like when account is connected successfully.

Confirm Connection

  1. Check for “Connected” status in Account Manager
  2. Verify device appears in phone’s Linked Devices list
  3. Test basic functionality by checking message sync

Managing Linked Devices

  • You can unlink devices anytime from WhatsApp mobile settings
  • Raion Hub will show disconnected status if unlinked, you will get notified via email
  • Re-linking requires repeating the QR code process
